This past September, Nicholas Brendon, 44-year-old actor known for his role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was arrested after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend in a hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The police said they found a lone woman in a hotel room after reporting to the scene in response to a phone call they received at around 11 p.m. that night. The woman claimed that she was returning Brendon’s personal belongings. She stated that Brendon refused to let her leave when she wanted to go, saying he took her car keys away and destroyed her cell phone. She also accused Brendon of grabbing and choking her while pinning her against a wall. Brendon was later found walking a few blocks away from the hotel.
