Bulldogs defensive lineman arrested for domestic violence

21-year-old defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor has been dismissed by Alabama following an arrest over allegations of domestic violence and criminal mischief, CBS Sports reported on Sunday, March 29.

Taylor was arrested Saturday evening over accusations that he assaulted his girlfriend, causing her to sustain minor injuries to her neck. He was charged with third degree assault and third degree mischief, and was remanded in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond and a mandatory 12-hour domestic violence wait.

Taylor was dismissed by the Bulldogs after being arrested twice – first, for theft by deception, and second, for physically assaulting his girlfriend.
