Nearly 10 years after it happened, a veteran math teacher from Harker School was arrested on suspicion of sexual molestation with a student under 14 years of age.
The victim was 13 when David Scott Graham, currently 64, allegedly performed lascivious acts and oral intercourse on her. She confessed to a friend this most recent July, who then took the information to the police. Sargent Enrique Garcia, who has worked in the sex crimes unit, mentioned that it can take years for a victim to reveal what happened.
Graham has been working at various schools for a combined total of 28 years, meaning that there may be other victims out there. Garcia said, “Graham used his position of authority to exploit the victim into a sexual relationship.”
