Renowned producer The-Dream is being sought for questioning by the New York Police Department (NYPD) over accusations that he assaulted his Canadian ex-girlfriend, an online report revealed Wednesday, April 30.
According to authorities, an incident of abuse happened between the producer and his ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam during April of last year, where The-Dream allegedly kicked, punched, and choked Nam while she was still pregnant with their son.
The-Dream rejected the accusation, saying that Nam is trying to extend her U.S. visa by accusing him of domestic violence.
