54-year-old ex-actor John Philbin has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for flaunting a loaded gun during a heated domestic violence incident, the Daily Mail reported on April 5.
Philbin, who is now a professional surf instructor, has also been placed on three years probation after pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge. The domestic violence event occurred in February, where witnesses said Philbin was wielding a loaded gun outside his house during a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Apart from custody and probation, Philbin has also been ordered to complete a 52 week Alcoholics Anonymous program and attend classes on domestic violence.
John Philbin appeared in several films in the 90’s, such as Point Break, Return of the Living Dead, and Tombstone.
